Boys Will Be Boys Vs Ladies & Whores
Expressing sexually has changed dramatically over the last one hundred years. During the time I grew up there has always been a double standard about men and women. If I guy slept around it was widely accepted if not expected. If a girl did the same she was branded with ugly words like whore or slut, tramp or even more colorful words. So why is this? I talked with many men and women about it but found that when many men are talked to that they feel don't live in a double standard. I wonder though how many times they called a girl that had more experience than them a whore. It seems that today that once they leave school (whether it be high school or college) they lose the mentality about it. Or was it just lies to please the woman that they were talking to? Will I am going to give these guys a benefit of the doubt and say that it is great that they have such an open mind.
When asked about if he felt that women's sexuality is expressed more equally than 50 years ago, Ash 21 from Texas said, "Not really, now they are insulted them...back then were only not allowed to wear certain clothes. I think they were treated more fairly back in the day! They just had more limited freedoms and all."
Mike 18 from New York when asked if he would seriously date or marry a woman that had more partners than he had stated, " No, because if I was going to marry someone their partners (may have been) better than me."
Yan 25 from Michigan only has one way of thinking of women. Simply put, "All woman are bitches and whores." "Good only to fuck then lose when I am bored." Of course he isn't a man-whore (or whoremonger) when he sleeps around himself. He "just has not other use for them."
Ash says, "I wouldn't think about (if she had more partners than him), but I'd be a little worried of we 'did it' and about my 'performance'...but I think most men worry about that. Mostly if she want to be with me that's all I'd need...If she truly loved me that's all I need from her, nothing more nothing less."
Mike isn't sure why he feels there is a double standard. He isn't sure if friends & family or what influences the idea that it is ok for guys but not girls to have casual sex. He says it most definitely exsists.
As I traveled backwards in age I found there is huge double standard. Also that there is excussion of boys by the older generations as well. Girls are thought to be prefect little angels if they keep their virginity, and little sluts if they give it up for
any reason. Where does it all come from? It has been handed down to the generations. Fathers and mothers try pushing it from the start. Funny isn't then to find out that the average age in many states is getting younger and younger for girls. I have met many males & female that lost their virginty at 8 years old. I have never heard of an 8 year old slut. Yet we judge a persons whole personality by how many people they admit to sleeping with. I must say I have been a hypoctrite about that myself. When I was teenager I had the idea that no guy was good enough for me if he wasn't a virgin himself. I would dump a guy if they didn't meet my standard. I found that my thinking is flawed. It would be nice to be with someone that didn't sleep with the ENTIRE volleyball team, but if he was a good guy and wanted to settle down then the only thing I care about is if I am going to be helping raise someone elses kids, or if there is a possiblity of getting a disease. If any of you have ever read my thoughts about Stone, then you know that the fact he sleeps around has never bothered me. I would care what he did as long as he came home disease- and baby- free. I am totally not interested in raising his kids. Unless there were special curcumstances. Stone is a major man-whore, with opnions identical to Yan (from above).
I find that is it funny that guys feel this way. In a future article I wish to discuss what woman think about this issue.
Welcome Back Victory Girls
In America's secret sexual history there are, now days, barely known group of women that are called "Victory Girls." Victory Girls are women for whatever reason, may be a sense of duty or whatever, decided that the way to boast moral among our troops were to have sex with as many of these boys/men as possible. Now days sex with a military guy is an average phenomena, with little side effects to one's reputation. However when I speak of Victory Girls I am talking about females that exclusively have sex with guys about to be "shipped out." Of course during the great wars such females were considered nothing more than whores. Treated some times as social outcasts. In many ways it is still the same way. Our double standard of men and women is a time honor tradition that cannot be changed. Truthfully we expect women to be ladies in public and our sluts in bed (if we can get that lucky). No matter how "liberal" a man says he is, he will still look down on a woman that has slept with women that have had more partners than him. Somehow though if you sleep with military guys that makes you a bigger whore. I can say I do see why. It isn't that the women are bad, it's the guys. These guys go all-over the world and have sex with literally 100's of females. With that in mind anyone who sleeps with someone like that is considered the same as them. In their own mind, even though they are the whore-monger, any one that sleeps with them must be a whore also. However this isn't always the case. Some of us happen to enjoy military guys exclusively. When I used to drink I only got involved with military guys because they were always leaving. I never got attached to any of them. Which was great. I had a new guys every weekend or so. Worked for them because they got have fun and then move on to next female that they wanted to try also. The modern Victory Girl is mainly this type of female. With sexually transmitted diseases ramped around the world, and AIDS still a number one killer, the idea of "showing a GI a good time" has changed somewhat. You meet these guys everywhere (me living in a military town I get to do more easily) whether it is online, in a club/bar, or out doing everyday things. Now you still have the chick that try to get knocked-up for a paycheck from GI's, but these are the ones we look down on the most. The easiest place to meet "boys" are at a club. Especially one that serves "hard" drinks. The modern Victory Girl can easily pick a guy up there. The guys are always out hunting, and the girls are easy eye candy. In these civilized versions (if you want to call them civilized) of mating rituals you shake whatever you have, or think you have, and guys come running. Although for all the really pretty girls that go out to be caught, I have noticed that it is the hard-core VG that gets the guy. Now first you have understand the hard-core VG. These type of chicks usually have something to prove, either to themselves or someone else. They aren't models. Many are over weight, at least a little, and are driven by the same drive that has these guys out to get laid. If you think that they are sober, then think again. Many of these girls need to knock back a few to actually go through with it. Fucking a GI is like any other fetish. You think about them in their cute little uniforms, and their tight bodies and hmmmmm...you can't wait to get them out of it. So why are these females so looked down on? Generally they are not the whores that others say you are... However they are thought of like the postitutes in St. Augustine Court, a necessary evil. The only evil is that which people that choice to degrade these women really care about. It is now considered our right to use their bodies however we wish, yet I also see how we treat people behind their backs. Victory girls are exactly what they have always been... females that want sex just as much as males with a particular taste. Is it exploitation? As usually you have to feel exploited to be exploited. Victory girls are our daughters, sisters, and mothers. It is their choice so why put them down? Why not put down the guys that use women like this? Guys, women are not your toys. However it is fun to play. As a chick that like a guy in uniform myself, and have dated almost excusively military guys since I moved here, I see nothing wrong with it all. Of course this is just my opinion, and a rant due to lack of sleep. So what you gonna do about it? Before making any decision let's explore American's sexual double standard more closely.
